J.C. Dobbs (aka Dobbs) name and trademark are now secured and owned by John (Travis) Ficula (former owner of the original J.C. Dobbs, aka Dobbs) and Susan Teears (B.L.A.S.T.) in Pennsylvania, in order to preserve the original name, produce a documentary, digitize the 1980 L.P. Dobbs Lives, for digital downloads, productions, shows and other archival audio and video for future release.
John has secured Philadelphia director-producer George Manney, to produce the Dobbs documentary. George has recently directed & produced the PBS - WYBE documentary, Pipes of Peace, the Rufus Harley story.
Let's not forget the founding fathers of J.C. Dobbs: Joe Garrison (RIP), John Travis, Donnie Tedesco (RIP) and Kathy James. And support from the following: All of the former JC Dobbs employees, David A. Ickes Dobbs photos, Bill Curry of the Copa, Cindy Miller, Relive the 80's and all of the artists/musicians that have passed through the door of J.C. Dobbs.
